(KUE, October 8, 2026) – Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on teacher professional development, curriculum development and policy advocacy, capacity building for psychologists and other professionals, mental health and psychosocial support, early childhood development and education, Special Needs Education, youth empowerment and leadership, research and innovation, evidence-based practices, and community service and outreach programs. The partnership will also promote joint research, professional training, knowledge sharing, and community-based initiatives.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Tewodros Mulugeta, Vice President for Research and Community Engagement, on behalf of KUE, and Dr. Alebachew Alemnew, Manager of AHA Psychological Services, on behalf of AHA. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Melkamu Afeta, Director of University–Industry Linkage and Technology Transfer, and Dr. Teshome Tolcha, Director of Research Publication Ethics and Dissemination, representing KUE, and Mr. Moges Gebremariam, Director of Counselling, Research, Consultancy and Training, representing AHA Psychological Services.
